November 2006, the Planning Advisory Council sent an open invitation to the campus community seeking volunteers and nominations to serve on the Strategic Planning Commission (see list of members). In December, Chancellor Peacock sent letters of invitation to proposed commission members assigning membership to subcommittees. The subcommittees met throughout the Spring 2007 semester to develop strategic objectives in their assigned areas for discussion and possible inclusion in the Strategic Plan. Each subcommittee is chaired by a member of the Planning Advisory Council.
