Technology Assisted Scheduling

Technology Assisted Scheduling at Appalachian State University is meant to maximize the utilization of our limited number of instructional spaces. Scheduling is to be completed using CollegeNet's Schedule25 Optimizer. For more information on CollegeNet and their suite of space management tools, you can reference their website here.

Utilizing this software, all general classroom spaces (coded as 110s in 25Live) will be scheduled. Initially, only certain section activity types will be considered for scheduling. These activity types include LEC (Lecture), SEM (Seminar) , WLH (Web Hybrid-Primarily Lec (<50)), and WEH (Web Based-Hybrid (50-89)). Moving forward we hope to expand this specific subset of rooms and sections.
