University Planning and Priorities Council Subcommittees and Members (2012-2014)
While developing the Strategic Plan, Sub-committees were asked to work with appropriate stakeholders to identify "what if" opportunities for their assigned topics as Appalachian State University shapes its vision for the next five years. The sub-committee goals are to:
- Spend time identifying "best practice" research on the topic and sharing articles and ideas from other universities.
- Brainstorm opportunities in the area, using members' expertise and experience.
- Identify key groups and constituents on campus who are specialists in the topic and who could give feedback to the sub-committee to help shape their work.
- Develop and present recommendations to the University Planning and Priorities Council (UPPC).
