Space Planning Committee

Space Planning Committee (SPC)
The Space Planning Committee is the University’s primary decision-making body for all space matters. It reviews recommendations from the SAG and makes final decisions on space issues that do not involve property purchase, sale, or lease. Examples include: multi-department space decisions, permanent reallocations of space, renovations below real-property thresholds, and large-scale planning and utilization decisions.

Voting Membership (by role):

  • University Controller or Chief Financial Officer’s delegate

  • Real Property Attorney or  Vice Chancellor of Institutional Integrity’s delegate

  • Deputy Chief Operating Officer or Chief Operating Officer’s delegate

  • Facilities Management Representative: Vacant (Interim: Director of Facility Operations)

  • Director of Academic Operations, Academic Affairs

  • Campus Property Officer (Director of Real Estate), University Operations

  • Provost’s delegate

  • Vice Chancellor of Research & Innovation’s delegate

  • Deputy Director of Athletics or Director’s delegate
